About Chris
In 2011 Chris started working as a Performance Analyst with the Wales senior men’s team alongside studying for his Bachelor of Science degree in Sport and Exercise Science. In 4 years with the team, he was fortunate to provide analysis support at 2 European Championships and the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
2015 saw him swap Cardiff for California, as he began work as an Assistant Coach at the University of the Pacific. He soon combined this role with a part time position as analyst to the USA senior women’s team. In 2017 he was on staff as the team won the World League semi-final tournament in South Africa, and followed this up by working the 2018 World Cup in London.
In 2019 Chris became the first ever full time Performance Analyst to an NCAA field hockey team when he began working at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. In his 3 seasons with the team they won 2 national championships and 3 ACC championships.
Now with the USA senior women’s team, he is working to help the team achieve success in the FIH Pro League, and at Paris 2024. Having worked at the highest levels of the game, Chris created Graphing the Game to bring cutting edge video and data analysis to you.
